Our New Hope family is still seeking someone to work with the music in our church.  We need someone who loves the Lord and has a desire to help build a Spiritual presence in our Sunday services. 

 Facts ...

 1.  We average about 100 in our 10:45 AM Morning Worship. 25 in Choir.

 2.  Most of our current couples are older.

 3.  We have a desire to reach younger couples and their children in our community.

 4.  We currently sing the old hymns as well as choruses.  We are open to change.

 5.  We have two solid pianists, one whose husband plays bass when she plays (every 3rd week).

6.  Will involve selecting Sunday music: songs and choruses, including special music.  Must be a take charge individual.

This is a paid position .. requiring all-day on Sundays.

SUPERVISOR: Pastor

DUTIES: 

1. Plan and implement a comprehensive Youth Ministry that includes evangelism, education, and activities; i.e. youth camp, mission trips, youth revival.
2. Be committed to evangelism and outreach for all ages.
3. Work with parents and other volunteers to integrate the youth ministry into the total church ministry.
4. Chair the youth committee, leading them in planning and budget recommendations.
5. Perform some pastoral ministry tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must be a committed Christian with a living testimony. 
• Must express a call from God to the gospel ministry and have a passion to work with students. 
• Should have some experience in working with students from pre-teen to college ages. 
• Should be licensed and ordained to the Gospel Ministry from a Southern Baptist Church. 
• Will be subject to a background check. 
• Should be in pursuit of, or have obtained a bachelors degree with the intention of pursuing professional training at a Southern Baptist or comparable seminary.
